Today I will be spending the day canning with my MIL. Were making apricot preserves and maybe some brandied apricots (for goat cheese bruschetta). Yum. I am SO excited and hope that one day I have a cupboard that looks like this. I am not even sure if I would eat any of it, just so pretty to look at! Also do you follow Food in Jars ? If you want to can, you should. I love food in jars. Hope you have a great day friends.

What a fabulous looking line-up of beauties. That really makes me feel all is right in the world! My mother always was such a great bottler and canner (sp?) and it really made us feel so well cared for...

I need to try out canning! Hope you had a blast! :) I am guessing that MIL means mother-in-law...which is super funny because I call my bro-in-law BIL and I thought I was the only one who did that. hahaha. Wow, goat cheese with brandied apricots bruccetta? You are killing me right now. That sounds amazing. My best friend's mom just gave me two jars of homemade plum jam last night and I'm so excited. Someday I hope to do some preserving. Have fun.
