Remember to laugh...

In light of Mother's day and how mine panned out, I wanted to remind you all (and myself) that sometimes you just need to laugh..... It is so true. A good laugh can cure any stress, sadness, and make your true happiness shine. Mother's Day started off at 5:30am with one sick baby, which continued after my shower. Shower #2. Then the big girl wet her bed. Ugh. By 8:30am I had done 2 loads of laundry, taken 2 showers, and given 2 baths. Next the hubs was held over late at work. I just figured that my girls were pulling out the big guns and decided to show me who is boss on Mother's Day. Laugh it off right?

The rest of the day went off without a hitch. We had a nice brunch, I watched a movie, and joined my mom, sister, and friends at the casino for a little fun. Just what I needed after said morning.
Laugh and shine. That's what I plan on doing all week. Hopefully there will be no more barfing involved.

How was your weekend?

xoxo

A perfect attitude. Sometimes one I'm not always able to execute, but I try!

After a brunch with the family, we had a perfect day at home. I helped Jacob with a project (thankfully, not a stressful one, but one where we could have plenty of laughs together- which he and I NEED), Ryan played catch with Hailey, and a very nice early dinner (& of course a cocktail too :).

Have a good week, and yes- hopefully no more barfing.

Yes, great attitude! I neglected to divulge that I too, was thrown up on multiple times on Saturday night...but it was due to intense coughing, then the poor little one eventually crawled into my bed and then wet the bed. AND we are sleeping on guest pull out couch because our master bed/bath is pretty much quarantined due to water leak and mold issue. So we didn't have a mattress pad on. BIG MESS. So....bottom line, I feel your pain AND your happiness. Nothing like a little vomit to earn a perfect mother's day! xoxoxo

Oh, wow. Your morning sounds rough. They just continue to challenge us at every turn, huh? I'm glad it worked out in the end. Hope it's a good week for you.

Even if we try... Mother's day sometimes is just a day. A good one, but often with plenty of mothering in it!
