Baby food, soup and eye candy.

I have been slacking off a bit this week with no Monday meal planning (sorry). Baby O got a tummy bug and I seem to have caught it as well. So.... we have been doing a lot of resting around here. I was not about to make much fuss over dinner, actually my mom was sweet enough to bring over dinner for me and E (thanks mom!).  I was not going to forget about my sweet baby girl who has spent the past two days not keeping much down. I thought I would share what she had for dinner.

Baked Sweet Potatoes and apple with Bananna
  • 1 sweet potato, chopped
  • 1 bananna, leave skin on
  • 1/2 sliced onion
  • 2 apples, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place everything on a baking sheet and roast for about 30 min. Once it is cooled enough to handle puree the bananna, some of the apples and potato. Reserve the rest, including all the onion, for soup tomorrow :) I was going to use mine to make a new recipe inspired by this recipe from Real Simple.

Since I have had plenty of time to get caught up in the blog world today, I discovered some great things that I think that you must check out:

1. Chassity's kitchen. It is beautiful, and she made a yummy chicken chili too.
2. Joslyn's house. Which I LOVE.
3. Michelle's Shop.
4. Beautiful Pictures of Italy.
5. This awesome diary that Torrie has.
6. Oh and this. I love gold stuff!

Awesome stuff right?

It is yummy, and she loves it! Seriously, why not make baby food yourself when you can? It is too easy! And not to mentions the best for the little lovebugs!
