Girly guilty pleasure

A few weeks ago Ella's grandma gave her some paper dolls. We have been hooked since. It brought back so many childhood memories and it is so great to see your child enjoy something that you loved. Well I still love them, now there are just two cute girls to play them with! We are going to get more for sure! Amazon has some really great historical paper dolls that can be incorporated into a lesson. Sounds like a win win if you ask me. You can see them here. Has anything struck your fancy lately? Do share....

One of my favorite pastimes. Such a timeless & simple (aka- NOT technology-based) activity.

So wonderful. I have to admit I am jealous! My youngest is totally influenced by her older siblings and seems to be flying into the tween years at the tender age of 5. Now I think I'm going to try to reel her back in with some paper dolls...love the idea.

oh how lovely to actually have scissors and paper. I can't give up real books because I love the tactility of paper so much
